## Break The Seal (Valkyrie Quest) - Player Guide

### Overview

The Break The Seal quest is an epic endgame quest that allows players to obtain powerful Valkyrie equipment, culminating in the legendary **Sleipnir** boots. This quest is designed for max-level players who seek the ultimate challenge and rewards.

### Prerequisites

* **Base Level:** 255 (Maximum)
* **Job Level:** 100 (Maximum)

### Quest Start Location

* **NPC:** Valkyrie
* **Location:** Prontera (163, 196)
* Look for the Valkyrie NPC near the central area of Prontera

### Quest Overview

The quest consists of two main phases:

1. **Breaking The Seal** - Collect required materials
2. **Crafting Valkyrie Items** - Create individual Valkyrie equipment pieces

### Phase 1: Breaking The Seal

#### Required Materials

You must collect the following items before you can break the seal:

**High Quantity Items:**

* 300 × Cursed Seal
* 200 × Hand of God
* 100 × Ancient Lips

**Rare Materials (20 pieces):**

* 20 × Peridot

**Rare Materials (10 pieces each):**

* 10 × Pyroxene
* 10 × Muscovite
* 10 × Biotite
* 10 × Talon of Griffon
* 10 × Rose Quartz
* 10 × Agate
* 10 × Young Twig
* 10 × Fragment of Rosatta Stone
* 10 × Mothers Nightmare
* 10 × Matchstick
* 10 × Phlogophite
* 10 × Skeletal Armor Piece

#### Helpful Features

* **Auto-loot Setup:** When you start the quest, the Valkyrie will automatically configure your autoloot to collect all quest-related materials
* **Manual Auto-loot:** You can manually activate autoloot for quest items by selecting the third option when talking to the Valkyrie

#### Completing Phase 1

Once you have collected all required materials:

1. Return to the Valkyrie in Prontera
2. Select "Yes, I have it now" when asked
3. The Valkyrie will verify your items and consume them
4. You will receive a random Castle Drop item as a bonus
5. A server-wide announcement will declare that you've broken the seal

After breaking the seal, you can craft individual Valkyrie equipment pieces.

#### Quest Status Tracking

* The quest uses multiple progress flags to track your completion
