# Kylo Ren Instance

### Kylo Ren Instance - Player Wiki

The **Kylo Ren Instance** is a party-based daily instance that sends players through multiple Star Wars themed battle areas before a final fight against **Kylo Ren**. The run has two difficulty modes: **Easy** for lighter clears and **Hard Mode** for stronger enemies and better Kylo Ren Fragment rewards.

### Quick Start

* **Where**: Dicastes Field 02 - talk to **`Kylo Ren#event`** at **dicastes02 (120, 233)**.
* **Nearby NPCs**: **Storm Trooper** NPCs stand beside the entrance.
* **Party size**: **1 to 5 players**.
* **Who can create**: Only the **party leader** can create the instance.
* **Entry cost**: Each entering member must pass the entry item check for **15x item `3100`**.
* **Daily lockout**: Once a character/account/device has faced Kylo Ren for the day, they cannot enter again until the daily reset.

### How to Enter

1. Form a party. Solo entry is allowed because the minimum party size is 1.
2. Have the party leader talk to **`Kylo Ren#event`**.
3. Choose **Create Instance (Kylo Ren)**.
4. Choose the difficulty:
   * **Easy** - lighter enemies, **Kylo Ren Fragment x1\~2**.
   * **Hard Mode** - stronger enemies and final boss, **Kylo Ren Fragment x2\~5**.
5. Each member talks to the same NPC and chooses **Enter Instance (Kylo Ren)**.

If a party member has already completed or entered the Kylo Ren daily lockout, the instance creation will fail and the NPC will list the blocked character.

### Difficulty Differences

Difficulty affects monster stats and clear rewards.

The stat scaling affects monster **ATK**, **MATK**, **HP**, and **HIT**. Scaled monsters are also set to level 255.

### Instance Flow

The run moves through several areas and unlocks portals as objectives are cleared.

#### 1) Opening Battle

You begin with Kylo Ren and Storm Troopers. After the introduction, waves of enemies spawn in the first area. Clear all waves to unlock the path forward.

#### 2) Hoth / Ice Area

Kylo Ren leads the party into the frozen area. Players fight several waves, then face the ice mid-boss:

* **Lost Dragon**

After the Lost Dragon is defeated, return through the unlocked portal.

#### 3) Mustafar / Fire Area

The party moves into the fire area. Players fight another set of waves, then face the fire mid-boss:

* **Kylo Summoned Nydhog**

After the fire boss is defeated, return to the main area.

#### 4) Ambush

After returning from Mustafar, Kylo Ren ambushes the party. Players are briefly forced into a disabled/blinded state, then Rebel Troopers reveal the path to the final boss room.

#### 5) Final Boss

Enter the final portal to fight **Kylo Ren**.

### Final Boss Mechanics

Kylo Ren uses several summon phases while fighting.

* **Storm Trooper reinforcements**: Kylo regularly calls Elite Storm Troopers around him.
* **75% HP and below**: Kylo summons up to 10 dark-side beasts using the instance wave monster list.
* **50% HP and below**: Kylo summons both dragon types:
  * **Kylo Summoned Nydhog**
  * **Lost Dragon**
* **25% HP and below**: Kylo creates up to 4 Kylo Ren clones.
* **Rebel support**: Rebel Troopers periodically appear during the final fight and fight alongside the party.

Tip: Clear dangerous summons quickly. Leaving too many adds alive can make the final phase much harder, especially on Hard Mode.

### Rewards

When Kylo Ren is defeated, eligible party members inside the instance receive **Kylo Ren Fragment**:

* **Easy**: **1\~2x Kylo Ren Fragment** (`70473`)
* **Hard Mode**: **2\~5x Kylo Ren Fragment** (`70473`)

Kylo Ren Fragment is account-bound style loot in the item database: it cannot be dropped, sold, mailed, carted, guild-stored, or auctioned.

### Ranking

The instance records party clear time in the **Elapsed Ranking** list.

* Ranking is based on the party's clear time.
* Faster clears rank higher.
* Ranking rewards are distributed daily at **8:00 AM** through Rodex Mail.

Ranking reward tiers:

The public ranking can be checked from **`Kylo Ren#event`** by choosing **Check Elapsed Ranking**.

### Related Quest: Kylo Ren Dark Force Helm

After obtaining at least **1x Kylo Ren Fragment**, players can talk to **Snoke** at **moc\_para01 (38, 19)** to begin the helm quest.

The quest creates:

* **Kylo Ren Dark Force Helm** (`3759`)

The helm is a top headgear with 1 slot. It gives all stats and elemental resistance, gains additional bonuses from refine level, and unlocks different bonuses when the wearer has high STR, INT, DEX, VIT, AGI, or LUK.

### Player Tips

* Choose **Easy** if your group mainly wants steady Kylo Ren Fragment farming.
* Choose **Hard Mode** if your party can handle heavier waves and a stronger final Kylo Ren.
* Bring area damage for the large wave sections.
* Bring sustain and crowd control for the final boss adds.
* Stay inside the instance until Kylo Ren dies, because completion rewards are granted to eligible party members present in the map.
* If pushing ranking, minimize downtime between portals and boss rooms.
