### 1. Overview

Nightmare Rush drops your party into the dangerous **Nightmare Arena** filled with supercharged versions of Ragnarok's most iconic MVPs. These aren't your ordinary MVPs — Nightmare variants are significantly stronger and reward you with **RUSH Score** and exclusive **Nightmare Fragments** upon defeat.

At the end of the event, the party with the highest RUSH Score wins special prizes. Weekly totals are also tracked, so consistent performance pays off every Sunday!

### 2. How to Join

#### Requirements

* You must be a **party leader**
* Your party must have **at least 2 members** (maximum 20)

#### Step 1 — Register Your Party

Registration opens **5 minutes before** the event starts. You have two options:

**Option A — Talk to the NPC**

> Visit the **Nightmare Rush NPC** in Prontera (138, 148). She's the glowing runestone near the center of town. Select **Register** from her menu.

**Option B — Use the command**

#### Step 2 — Wait for the Event to Start

Once registered, a server-wide announcement confirms your party:

> *"\[Party Name] has registered to the event. \[X/Y] parties registered."*

You can **withdraw** anytime before the event starts by talking to the NPC or running `@nightmarerush` again.

> ⚠️ If not enough parties register, the event is cancelled and any entry fees are refunded to your mailbox.

#### Step 3 — Get Warped In

When the countdown ends, all registered parties are automatically warped into the arena. Party leaders land first, then members are warped to the leader's location.

### 3. Event Schedule

The event runs **twice per day**, every day of the week:

### 4. Inside the Arena

#### Map Rules

The Nightmare Arena has strict rules while the event is active:

* ❌ No memo / save point
* ❌ No Dead Branch
* ❌ No warping out manually
* ✅ PvP is **enabled** — watch your back!
* ✅ Party lock — your party is fixed for the run

#### Dying & Re-entering

If you die or get disconnected, don't panic! You can re-enter the arena:

1. Talk to the **Nightmare Rush NPC** in Prontera or use `@nightmarerush`
2. Choose **Re-Enter** from the menu
3. Select a party member to warp near (leader or any online member)

**Free Re-entries:** Each character gets **10 free re-entries** per event. **After that:** Each additional warp costs **50x Credits**.

> 💡 **Tip:** Coordinate with your party before re-entering so you don't waste free warps warping to someone far from the action.

### 5. RUSH Score & Scoring

Every MVP your party kills adds **RUSH Score** to your party's total. Different MVPs are worth different amounts:

> 🏆 **Priority Target:** Always try to focus **Nightmare Eremes** first — 35 points per kill is massive!

After each MVP kill, a map announcement shows your party's updated score:

> *"Party \[Name] now has \[X] RUSH score!"*

### 6. Rewards

#### 🎁 Per-Kill Drops

Every MVP you personally kill has a chance to drop:

At the end of every event, the top 5 parties by RUSH Score receive **Nightmare Orbs** by mail (sent to the party leader):

#### ⭐ Score Milestone Bonuses (All Parties)

Every party earns bonus **Enchantment Scroll Boxes** based on their total score — rewards stack as you hit each milestone:

> 💡 Even if you don't place in the top 5, hitting high score milestones still rewards you well! A score of 800+ earns **296 Enchantment Scroll Boxes** total.

#### 🗓️ Weekly Ranking Rewards

The server tracks your **cumulative RUSH Score** across all events each week. Every **Sunday**, the top 3 party leaders for the week receive **Nightmare Boxes** by mail:

#### Viewing Rankings In-Game

1. Talk to the **Nightmare Rush NPC** in Prontera
2. Select **Rankings**
3. Choose a week to view (current or past weeks)
4. Browse party scores and see detailed kill breakdowns

You can view:

* **Weekly leaderboard** — top parties by total score for the week
* **Per-run breakdown** — each event run's score for a specific party
* **Member contributions** — how much each party member scored individually
* **Kill log** — which player killed which MVP and for how many points

#### How Weekly Score Works

Your weekly score is the **sum of all RUSH Scores** earned across every event your party participated in that week. Running multiple events per day and ranking consistently every day is the key to dominating the weekly leaderboard!

Collect enough **Nightmare Fragments** and you can exchange them for valuable boxes at the **Nightmare Rush NPC** in Prontera.

#### Exchange 1: Normal Fragments → Lhz Nightmare Box

> **15× any Normal Nightmare Fragment = 1× Lhz Nightmare Box**

The normal fragment pool includes fragments from most standard MVPs (Osiris, Baphomet, Orc Lord, Randgris, Ifrit, etc.). You can mix and match any combination — they don't all need to be the same type.

#### Exchange 2: Bio Lab Fragments → Any Bio Lab Fragment

> **3× any Bio Lab Nightmare Fragment = 1× Bio Lab Fragment of your choice**

Bio Lab fragments come from the 6 Bio Lab MVPs (Seyren, Eremes, Howard, Margaretha, Cecil, Kathryne). This lets you convert excess fragments of one type into whichever Bio Lab fragment you actually need.

#### How the Exchange UI Works

1. Open the NPC → Select **Exchange**
2. Choose which exchange type you want
3. Select how many of each fragment to include
4. The total must be divisible by the required amount (15 or 3)
5. Confirm and receive your reward instantly

### 10. Tips & FAQ

#### 💡 General Tips

* **Go for Bio Lab MVPs first.** Eremes (35 pts) and the other Bio Lab MVPs (25 pts) are the fastest way to pull ahead in score. Only 2 of each spawn, so race to them!
* **Don't ignore the Guardian.** 15 pts per kill and bonus crystal drops make it worth the effort if your party is strong enough.
* **Coordinate re-entries.** Use your 10 free warps wisely — warp to a party member near active MVPs, not across the map.
* **Stay together.** Since re-spawned MVPs return to a random location, parties that spread out cover more ground and kill faster.
* **Watch the map announcements.** The score updates after each kill tell you how you're doing relative to your own session, helping you gauge whether to push harder.

#### ❓ FAQ

**Q: Do I need to pay to join?**

> Entry is free by default. Check the event announcement or NPC description in case the server has enabled an entry fee requirement.

**Q: Can I join mid-event if I'm late?**

> No — registration closes when the event starts. You must register during the 5-minute window before the event begins.

**Q: What happens if I'm inside the arena and the event ends?**

> You'll be automatically warped back to Prontera when the event concludes. No need to do anything.

**Q: Do all party members get fragments, or just the killer?**

> Only the **character who lands the killing blow** receives fragment and drop rolls. Make sure everyone on your team is actively fighting and contributing!

**Q: I registered but wasn't warped into the arena. What happened?**

> This can happen if the event was cancelled (not enough parties registered). Check your mailbox — any entry fees will be returned there.

**Q: Can my party fight other parties inside the arena?**

> PvP is enabled inside the arena, so technically yes. However, the event is scored by MVP kills, so competing parties are usually focused on hunting rather than each other.

**Q: What's the best party composition for high score?**

> Fast-killing classes with high DPS output dominate this event. Classes with area skills can clear clustered MVPs quickly. Having a support/healer helps your team survive the 70M HP Guardian and Bio Lab MVPs.

**Q: Weekly rewards go to the party leader — what about the rest of the party?**

> Winner placement and weekly rewards are sent to the **party leader's mailbox**. It's up to the leader to distribute rewards to the team. Communicate with your leader beforehand!

**Q: How do I check my fragment drop rate?**

> Fragment drop rates are visible in your chatlog during each kill. A colored message shows whether you succeeded or failed the drop roll.
